We are a USA-based company, providing services to the Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial sectors. By using our website and services, you agree to this Privacy Policy, so please read it carefully.  Agreement with this privacy policy is a requirement for granting you permission to use our website and services.

You should know that when you access websites and services on the internet, there are certain things about you that are provided by your computer and browser.  The servers hosting websites you visit will know the IP address from which the connection is made.  Your IP address will be displayed in any password reset emails we send you, as a security precaution.  Other data that is available to us and our vendors, and how we use that data, is outlined below.

2. DATA COLLECTED
GENERAL DATA

While you visit our site, we are able to track location, IP address, browser type and information sent to us by your browser in the browser string.

COMMENTS

When you leave comments or reviews on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. 

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

If you register on our website, we store your chosen username and your email address and any additional personal information added to your user profile. GOOGLE ANALYTICS

SECURITY LOGS

The IP address of visitors, user ID of logged in users, and username of login attempts are conditionally logged to check for malicious activity and to protect the site from specific kinds of attacks. Examples of conditions when logging occurs include login attempts, log out requests, requests for suspicious URLs, changes to site content, and password updates.

A QR code image is generated for users that set up two-factor authentication for this site. This image is generated using a vendor-hosted API. In the process of generating this image, your username is sent to the API. This data is not logged. 

This site is scanned for potential malware and vulnerabilities by a security vendor. We do not send personal information to the scanner; however, the scanner could find personal information posted publicly (such as in comments) during the scan. 3. EMBEDDED CONTENT

Pages on this site may include embedded content, like YouTube videos, for example. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you visited the other website.

Our website uses features provided by the Vimeo video portal. This service is provided by Vimeo Inc., 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. 

If you visit one of our pages featuring a Vimeo plugin, a connection to the Vimeo servers is established. Here the Vimeo server is informed about which of our pages you have visited. In addition, Vimeo will receive your IP address. This also applies if you are not logged in to Vimeo when you visit our plugin or do not have a Vimeo account. GOOGLE WEB FONTS

For uniform representation of fonts, this page uses web fonts provided by Google. When you open a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

LITESPEED CACHE

This site utilizes caching in order to facilitate a faster response time and better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is on display on this site. All cache files are temporary, and are never accessed by any third party, except as necessary to obtain technical support from the cache plugin vendor. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator, but may easily be purged by the admin before their natural expiration, if necessary. 7. HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

BACKUPS

Backups of this website’s files and/or databases are created and stored on our hosting company’s server from time to time, and moved to remote and/or 3rd party servers for longer term storage. These backups are stored to provide the ability to recover the website should a disaster occur.

11. RELEASE OF YOUR DATA FOR LEGAL PURPOSES

At times it may become necessary or desirable to JK Energy Group, for legal purposes, to release your information in response to a request from a government agency or a private litigant.
